How to control your stress in college

Hey Guys! I don't know if all of you are in college but this could work even if you're in high school or at work. I do tend to stress a lot and my back starts to hurt but these are the things that I do to minimize this.
1) Lists
I know you've probably heard of to-do lists and are tired of it but if you're anything like me (organized, not really procrastinator) these will help you so much!! It just makes me feel organized and on top of my things! I usually do a to-do list for a week where I put every single reading or thing I have to do for college and then I do another list where I put the things that I have to do besides school work, so in my everyday life.
2) Don't procrastinate
I know it might be easier said than done but just image how bad you'll be feeling on the night before your essay is do if you're having to rush, to stay up all night to write that essay. Just start to think about your essays when they hand you the question so that you have a lot of time to prepare and maybe even talk with the teacher about your ideas to see if you're in the right way.
3) Divide your work
If you're writing your essay really early on, you don't have to rush it. I would suggest that on one day you come up with a scheme for your essays where you'll write your main ideas and then do all the research and the quotes that you want to use (I would also suggest writing everything down the way you would do it for the bibliography so that you don't have to look it up again a couple of days later). Later on, a couple of days later, whenever you find the time start to write your essay. If you can write half of your essay in one seating and write the second half another day it would be great! If you think you can handle it and just write your whole essay in one day, maybe not one sitting but taking breaks in between, it would be very nice because you'll have time to re-read it a couple of days later and try to correct it with a fresher mind.
4) Try not to work in your bed
I don't know if this happens to you but I would usually work in my bed before, I would throw all of the book and my laptop in there. After a while I just thought of my bed as a working space only so when I was watching netflix or youtube I was constantly thinking about what I should be doing instead. Try to figure out a space either a library, a cafe, somewhere in your house (I find that if there's a table it's more comfortable) where you can just sit for a couple of hours and work and then you get to relax in your bed instead of stressing out.
5) Do sports
I know a lot of people say they don't have time but honestly if you think about it you'll most likely have a free hour that you could spend doing any sport activity. It can be in the morning before a class, in the afternoon, at night just whenever. Find out what the gyms around you have to offer and look for the best prices because they can be very expensive but also very inexpensive (maybe not inexpensive but quite reasonable). What I do is I go to a gym where you pay monthly and you can use the gym and go to any fitness class that you like so if you go with a friend it can be very fun to try out different classes like yoga, zumba, step, pilates, box (the options are endless).
6) Treat yourself
Don't forget to treat yourself once in a while. Do an activity that you like, eat something you love, go out with friends, stay in and do a netflix marathon, read a book, whatever it is that makes you happy, DO IT.
